Parents of Peterson School (POPS) is our local parent organization. POPS plans, supports, and helps fund a variety of activities that help our students have a more successful academic and social career while attending Peterson Elementary School.

Some of the projects that have been supported either through time or funding are:

  • Welcome Back Ice Cream Social
  • Technology Upgrades
  • Art in April
  • Book Fair Book Coupons
  • Peterson Pride T-shirts
  • Student Yearbooks
  • Peterson Alumni High School Scholarships
  • Playground Equipment
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • Teacher Classroom Grants

The POPS group holds an open meeting once per trimester. Those dates and times are posted in the Peterson Newsletter. POPS participation a great way to get involved in your child’s school and all parents are welcome to attend! If you'd like to help but can't attend the meetings, that's ok! We have a variety of volunteer opportunities -- some that can be completed in an hour or less.
